The Madison Police Department has identified Samantha Rupnow as the shooter involved in the deadly shooting at Abundant Life Christian School (ALCS) in Madison, Wisconsin. Rupnow, believed to be a student at the school, is among the three deceased following the tragic incident.
During an earlier media briefing, it was mistakenly reported that five people had died. Authorities have now confirmed that three individuals, including the shooter, lost their lives. In addition to the fatalities, nine people were injured in total, with their conditions still being assessed.
The community is urged to avoid the area around ALCS as the investigation continues. Parents and guardians seeking to reunite with their children are directed to go to the Dean Clinic at 1821 S. Stoughton Road, where reunification efforts are underway.
