The victim who died following a fatal shooting in Southwest has been identified as 19-year-old Nadir McCoy, of Northwest, DC. The tragic incident unfolded at an apartment building in the 200 block of I Street, Southwest on n Wednesday, December 4, 2024.
First responders were deployed to the property where they found located an adult male inside of an apartment. According to report, the victim was unresponsive with apparent gunshot wound.
Nadir was pronounced dead on scene. Investigation is active and ongoing.
