Dr. Chandrasekaran tragically passed away leaving behind a legacy of exceptional care and dedication to the field of cardiology.
Dr. Chandrasekaran’s career was marked by his expertise in coronary, carotid, and peripheral interventions. He held board certifications in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, Echocardiography, and Nuclear Cardiology. He completed his medical education at Madurai Kamaraj University in India before pursuing his residency at St. Luke’s Roosevelt and Columbia University in New York, where he also completed his cardiology fellowship. Dr. Chandrasekaran went on to serve as an assistant professor of medicine at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center from 1997 to 2002.
Throughout his career, Dr. Chandrasekaran earned the respect and admiration of his colleagues, patients, and the medical community. His commitment to improving patient outcomes, his leadership in the field, and his compassionate approach to care set him apart as a highly respected physician.
