It is with great sadness that we share the tragic death of William Womack, 30, a beloved son, brother, and friend, who was fatally shot on Saturday, November 30, 2024, while aboard a Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) bus. William, a resident of Catonsville, MD, passed away shortly after the shooting, which occurred around 2 p.m. on South Eutaw Street near West Redwood Street in Baltimore. He was transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Investigators believe the shooting followed a verbal dispute between William and an unidentified individual, who police say did not know each other. The circumstances surrounding the altercation remain under investigation.
