Brandy Manville, 46, a beloved administrative assistant at Portage High School has sadly passed away. Brandy died following a devastating murder-suicide on Friday, November 29, 2024.
Brandy was found deceased at her home on Monument Avenue in Portage after authorities responded to a domestic disturbance. She had sustained gunshot injuries and was declared dead at the scene. In addition to Brandy’s death, a second victim was seriously injured.
Brandy was a cherished member of the Portage community, known for her dedication, kindness, and unwavering commitment to the students and staff she served.
Charles Manville, 45, was also found dead from what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound
A mother, a friend, and a colleague, Brandy was known for her warm heart, infectious smile, and the positive energy she brought to all aspects of her life. Her work at Portage High School made a lasting impact on countless students, parents, and faculty, as she consistently went above and beyond to ensure the smooth operation of the school.
Brandy’s family, friends, and colleagues will forever remember her for her strength, compassion, and resilience. She is survived by her loving family, who are devastated by her untimely loss.
