Mesquite shooting | The Mesquite Police Department responded to a reported shooting at Mesquite High School. The school is has been placed on lockdown out of abundance of caution.
Social media posts indicate that at least two student have been reportedly shot. Law enforcement authorities reacted to the shooting after they were subsequently informed that gunshots had been heard.
The Police Department is currently conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
