Mariano Raymundo, 28, was identified as the man found dead near a retention pond behind a nearby AT&T store. OPD officers were deployed to the area following report of a hit-and-run crash that left a cyclist deceased.
Raymundo was crossing State Road 200 northbound on an electronic bicycle when a westbound vehicle struck him, according to officers.
According to report, the westbound lanes of Southwest College Road were impacted near the 4400 block, just west of the I-75 overpass. The crash remains under investigation.
