Murder suicide Longview WA – Authorities continue to investigate a murder-suicide at a Longview apartment. Two people died in an apparent murder-suicide that occurred Thursday evening at a West Longview home. Police officers were deployed to the area due to a shooting report.
Deputies located two adults down inside the home. Emergency service administered first aid treatment to the victims but all effort to revive them failed. The two people were pronounced dead on scene.
According to report, a woman in her 30s sustained gunshot wound to her chest, and the other adult, a male, was bleeding, with a gun next to the “patient.”
Cowlitz County Sheriff’s Office reports there is no threat to the public. This incident is under investigation by law enforcement.
